We are building the most complete, most honest food-safety database for dog and cat owners: what is safe, what is dangerous, what nobody actually knows.

Method. Every verdict is extracted as facts (not copied text) from authoritative sources — ASPCA, Merck Veterinary Manual, Pet Poison Helpline, VCA, AKC, FDA. Each page lists its sources and a verification date. Where sources conflict we take the more conservative verdict and say so.

What we will never do. Publish a verdict without a source; invent a veterinarian's endorsement; give treatment dosing advice — that is your vet's job, ours is telling you who to call.
